Mark Alan Clouse (born around 1968) is an American businessman. He is currently the president of the Washington Commanders, a professional American football team in the National Football League (NFL).
Before his business career, Mark Clouse served in the United States Army. He attended the United States Military Academy (USMA) from 1986 to 1990. During his time there, he played college basketball for the Army Black Knights. After graduating, he became a helicopter pilot and reached the rank of captain. He left the military in 1996.
Clouse later worked as a leader in the food industry. He was the CEO of Pinnacle Foods and then the president and CEO of the Campbell Soup Company. In 2025, he became the president of the Washington Commanders. He also serves on the board of directors for Brown–Forman Corporation.

Mark Clouse's Early Life and Military Service
Mark Clouse was born around 1968 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He went to Northwest High School and graduated in 1986. After high school, he attended the United States Military Academy in West Point, New York.
While at the academy, he played as a guard and captain for the Army Black Knights basketball team. He played for two seasons. An injury he got while stationed in Alaska affected his ability to play sports. In 1990, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in economics.
After college, Clouse joined the United States Army. He served as a helicopter pilot for six and a half years. He rose to the rank of captain before he retired from the Army in 1996.

Leading Companies in the Food Industry (1996–2024)
After leaving the military, Mark Clouse began his business career in 1996. He joined the marketing department at Kraft Foods. From 2006 to 2008, he was the president of Kraft Foods in Greater China. He then became the managing director for Kraft Foods Brazil from 2008 to 2010.
In 2010, he was named senior vice president of the Biscuits Global Category. The next year, he was promoted to president of Kraft's Snacks and Confectionery division. When Kraft Foods split into two companies, Clouse became an executive vice president at Mondelez International. This company focused on international snack foods.
In 2014, he was named Chief Growth Officer. In 2016, he became Chief Commercial Officer, overseeing the company's growth plans worldwide. In May 2016, Clouse was hired as the CEO of Pinnacle Foods. He helped the company get bought by Conagra in October 2018. After this, he stepped down from his role. In January 2019, Clouse was appointed as the president and CEO of Campbell's.
Leading the Washington Commanders (2025–Present)
In December 2024, Mark Clouse announced he was leaving Campbell's. He was then named the president of the Washington Commanders. This is an American football team in the National Football League (NFL). His new role with the Commanders began in February 2025. As president, he manages the team's business and marketing departments.
Mark Clouse's Personal Life
Mark Clouse is married to Kathy McLeod, who used to be a teacher. They met while he was stationed at Fort Irwin in Barstow, California. The couple got married in 1995 and have two sons.
In November 2022, he joined the board of directors for Brown–Forman Corporation. As the president of the Commanders, Clouse spoke at an event hosted by Lawrence Di Rita at The Economic Club of Washington, D.C. in May 2025.
