His best performance was taking 5 wickets for 40 runs against Leicestershire in 1989. Even though he did well in practice games for Surrey, he didn't get many chances to play for the main team. So, he left Surrey at the end of the 1989 season.
Time with Glamorgan
In 1990, Mark Frost joined Glamorgan, a team from Wales. He played his first game for them against Oxford University. He quickly became a regular player for Glamorgan.

By the 1993 season, he played very few matches for Glamorgan. He only played two first-class games and one List A game. Because he wasn't getting many chances to play, he left Glamorgan at the end of the 1993 season.
