College Basketball Career
Marlon Maxey started his basketball journey at Percy L. Julian High School in Chicago, Illinois. After high school, he went on to play college basketball.
Playing for the Golden Gophers
From 1987 to 1988, Maxey played for the University of Minnesota. He was part of their team, the Minnesota Golden Gophers.
Time with the UTEP Miners
Later, from 1989 to 1992, he played college basketball at the University of Texas at El Paso. There, he was a key player for the UTEP Miners.
Professional Basketball Journey
After his college career, Marlon Maxey became a professional basketball player. He played in the NBA and then in several countries around the world.
NBA Career with the Timberwolves
