History of Marshall

A post office has been open in Marshall since 1878. The town was named after Mahlon W. Marshall. He was one of the first people to own the land where the town was built.

A special landmark in Marshall is the Arch in the Town of Marshall. This arch was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1985. This means it is an important historical site.
