Marty Klyne (born March 6, 1957) is a Canadian senator and a former business leader. He was chosen to join the Senate of Canada in September 2018. Mr. Klyne is a Cree Métis citizen. He studied business at the University of Regina and then started his career in banking.

University Studies
Marty Klyne went to the University of Regina. He earned a degree in business administration in 1986. He studied finance, which is about managing money. He graduated with special honors.
Marty Klyne's Career Journey
Leading the RCMP Heritage Centre
From March 2017 to August 2018, Mr. Klyne was the chief executive officer (CEO) of the RCMP Heritage Centre. A CEO is like the main boss of an organization. He worked to help the center grow and share the history of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
Working with the Regina Pats Hockey Club
Between May 2015 and January 2017, Marty Klyne was a top manager for the Regina Pats Hockey Club. He was the chief operating officer (COO). He helped manage the team's daily activities and worked closely with the team's president and general manager.
Teaching at First Nations University
From January 2013 to May 2015, Mr. Klyne taught at the First Nations University of Canada. He was an instructor and a sessional lecturer. He taught different business courses to students.
Managing Major Newspapers
