The Flight to Egypt

Why They Fled to Egypt
Before this verse, an angel warned Joseph in a dream. The angel told him that King Herod was looking for Jesus to kill him. So, Joseph quickly took his family and left for Egypt. This journey is often called the "Flight into Egypt."
The Prophecy Fulfilled
