Maxime Boisclair (born February 14, 1985) is a Haitian Canadian former professional ice hockey player. He played as a forward and was known for scoring many goals. Maxime played for various teams in different leagues during his career. He finished his career with the Trois-Rivières Blizzard in the Ligue Nord-Américaine de Hockey (LNAH).

Maxime Boisclair's Hockey Journey
Starting in Junior Hockey
Maxime Boisclair began his hockey journey in junior leagues. In 2001, he was picked early in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) draft. The Sherbrooke Castors chose him as the 9th player overall. This was a big step for his career.
Later, in December 2002, Maxime was traded to the Chicoutimi Saguenéens. This trade involved other players and draft picks. It gave him a new team and a chance to grow his skills.
Becoming a Top Scorer
Maxime quickly became a star player. In December 2004, he was named the QMJHL Offensive Player of the Month. He scored six goals and made twelve assists in just ten games. This showed how good he was at scoring points.
Just a week later, he was named the QMJHL Offensive Player of the Week. Between December 27, 2004, and January 9, 2005, he scored ten goals. He also earned fourteen points in only seven games. He finished that season with an amazing 51 goals in 70 games.
In his final season with the Saguenéens, Maxime scored 70 goals in 70 games. He led the entire QMJHL in goals scored. Even with this amazing record, he was not chosen in the NHL draft. Some people, including Maxime himself, thought his skating speed was a reason. He made history by being the first Black player to lead the QMJHL in goals.
Playing as a Professional
After his junior career, Maxime became a professional player. He spent most of his time playing in two leagues. These were the ECHL and the Quebec-based LNAH.
ECHL All-Star
During the 2006-07 season, Maxime played for the Johnstown Chiefs. He was the top scorer on his team, with 51 points in 59 games. His great play earned him a spot in the ECHL All-Star Game. He played for the American Conference team.
He also got a chance to play in the American Hockey League (AHL). This league is a step below the NHL. He played 17 games for the Springfield Falcons, who were linked to the Chiefs.
Playing in Different Countries
Maxime also played in the LNAH. In the 2007-08 season, he joined the Saint-Hyacinthe Top Design. He was the highest scorer in the league, with 82 points in 47 games.
In the 2012-13 season, Maxime played hockey in Kazakhstan. He played for Arlan Kokshetau. In 35 games, he scored 19 goals and made 30 assists. After playing in Kazakhstan, he returned to the ECHL. He joined the Stockton Thunder and quickly became one of their top scorers.
