Early Life and Career Beginnings
Mehdi Dehbi was born in Liège, Belgium, on December 5, 1985. His family originally came from Tunisia. When he was just ten years old, Mehdi started attending a theatre and music school called Académie Grétry. This school was actually in the same building where he was born!
At sixteen, Mehdi got his first main role in a movie called Le Soleil assassinéDardenne brothers, helped produce this film. For his work, Mehdi was nominated for Best Actor at the Joseph Plateau Awards in 2003.
