Menefrida was a Christian saint from the 5th century. She is connected to the area of St Minver in Cornwall, England. This place is near the River Camel estuary. Her name can also be spelled Menefreda, Menwreda, Menfre, Mynfreda, or Minefreda. During the time of King Henry VIII, the parish was called St. Menifryde.

Menefrida was one of the many children of Brychan, a Welsh king. People have called her a saint since at least the year 1256. A writer named William of Worcester wrote about her. He noted that she was a virgin, but not a martyr. He found this information in a calendar from Bodmin. Her special day, or feast day, is July 24.
