Michael Cinco (born August 8, 1971) is a famous fashion designer from the Philippines. He lives and works in Dubai. In 2003, he started his very own fashion brand, which is named after him.

Early Life and Education
Growing Up in the Philippines
Michael Cinco was born on August 27, 1971. He grew up on the island of Samar in the central Philippines. Even as a child, he dreamed of designing beautiful clothes. He imagined dressing up famous movie stars like Marlene Dietrich and Audrey Hepburn. He once said, "I pictured those fabulous heroines and imagined dressing them up in my creations."
Learning About Fashion
Michael Cinco first studied Fine Arts at the University of the Philippines Diliman. After two years, he moved to Slims Fashion and Arts School in Manila. To learn even more, he took extra classes at Central Saint Martins in London. This school is very well-known for fashion and art.
Michael Cinco's Career
Starting in Dubai
In 1997, Michael Cinco moved to Dubai. He felt this was a big step for him. He said the Middle East was a "haven of couture," meaning a great place for high fashion. He first worked at a fashion house there. He helped make it more exciting and modern. People in Dubai's fashion world soon noticed his talent and passion.
In 2002, Cinco traveled to Paris and then London. He trained more at Central Saint Martins College of Arts and Design. The next year, he returned to Dubai. That's when he officially started his own fashion label, Michael Cinco.
Inspiration for Designs
Michael Cinco often finds ideas for his clothes in buildings. For example, his Fall/Winter 2017 collection was inspired by the Palace of Versailles. He looked at its fancy wall designs and painted ceilings. He used these ideas to create stunning couture gowns.
Michael Cinco is also part of the selection committee for Miss Universe 2024.
