Michael Preston, born on June 1, 1989, is a former American football player. He played as a wide receiver. In 2011, the Tennessee Titans signed him as an undrafted free agent. Before that, he played college football at Heidelberg.

Michael Preston's Early Life and High School Football
Michael Preston played high school football for the Euclid High School Panthers. He joined the varsity team in his final year. During that year, he caught 12 passes and scored two touchdowns. He finished high school and graduated in 2007.
College Football Career
Preston played for the Heidelberg Student Princes from 2007 to 2010. He played in 39 games during his college career. He caught 167 passes for 2,748 yards. He also scored 27 touchdowns. Because of his great performance, he was named First-team All-Ohio Athletic Conference in both 2009 and 2010.
Michael Preston's Professional Football Journey
After college, Michael Preston began his professional football career. He played for several teams in different leagues.
Starting with the Utah Blaze
Preston was not chosen in the 2011 NFL draft. However, he signed with the Utah Blaze on June 27, 2011. He played in three games for the Blaze. During this time, he caught 26 passes for 319 yards and scored five touchdowns.
Time with the Tennessee Titans
On July 26, 2011, Preston signed with the Tennessee Titans. He spent time on their practice squad and active roster. On December 7, 2012, he was moved to the main team. He was waived by the Titans in October 2013 but later rejoined their practice squad. He was promoted back to the active roster on December 7, 2013.
On December 15, 2013, he caught three passes for 27 yards. He also scored his first two career touchdowns against the Arizona Cardinals. He played in 11 NFL games in total. He finished his NFL career with 10 catches for 96 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Other Teams and Leagues
After the Titans, Preston continued his career. He signed with the San Jose SaberCats on October 23, 2014.
In 2015, he joined the Miami Dolphins on January 7. He was released by the team later that year.
He then signed with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in Canada on April 20, 2016. He was released by them in May 2016.
On March 21, 2017, Preston was assigned to the Cleveland Gladiators. He played well and earned Second-team All-Arena honors in 2017.
