Michelle Jacqueline Krusiec (born Ya-Huei Yang; October 2, 1974) is an American actress, writer, and producer. She is known for her roles in movies like Saving Face and TV shows such as Popular and Fringe. Michelle has also lent her voice to animated series and performed in theater.

Early Life and Education
Michelle Krusiec was born in Taiwan on October 2, 1974. When she was five years old, she was adopted by her father's older sister and her husband, Carl Andrew Krusiec. Her adoptive family raised her in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Her adoptive father gave her the name Michelle Jacqueline because he liked French names.
Michelle went to Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech) where she studied theater. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. She also received a scholarship to study Shakespeare and women's literature at the University of Oxford in England.

Michelle Krusiec has had a busy career in television, movies, and theater. She has traveled the world for her work and played many different characters.
Television Roles and Voice Acting
In 1996, Michelle was chosen to be one of six travel reporters for the Discovery Channel show Travelers. She visited more than 50 places around the world for the show.
She also appeared in the popular science fiction series Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, playing the 18-year-old Molly O'Brien. Michelle was a co-star in the NBC sitcom One World and played Exquisite Woo in Popular.
Later, she had a recurring role as Nadine Park in Season 4 of Fox's Fringe. She also appeared in episodes of many other TV shows, including Community, CSI: Miami, Grey's Anatomy, and NCIS.
In 2020, Michelle played the famous actress Anna May Wong in the Netflix series Hollywood. She has also provided various voices for the animated series American Dad!.
Film Appearances
Michelle Krusiec was nominated for Best Actress at the Golden Horse Film Festival for her role in the independent film Saving Face (2005). In this movie, she played Wilhelmina Pang, a Chinese American surgeon.
She has also appeared in several other feature films. These include Knife Fight, What Happens in Vegas (where she played Chong, a co-worker of Cameron Diaz's character), and Daddy Day Care as the English teacher. Michelle has also been in independent films like Nice Girls Crew and Tomato and Eggs.
Theater Performances
Michelle Krusiec is also a talented writer and director. She created and performed a one-woman show called "Made in Taiwan." This show was performed in Los Angeles and at the New York International Fringe Festival of Theater. She is working to turn this play into a feature film.
Michelle has also toured with the cast of David Henry Hwang's play, Chinglish, playing the role of Xi Yian. The play traveled to different theaters before going to the Hong Kong Arts Festival. In 2018, she starred in Wild Goose Dreams at The Public Theater.
