Mifflin is a small town located in Iowa County, Wisconsin, United States. In the year 2000, about 617 people lived there. The town includes a small community also called Mifflin. There was once another community named Dallas in the town, but it no longer exists.

History of Mifflin
The Mifflin Fireball Event
On April 14, 2010, something amazing happened near Mifflin. A bright fireball from outer space flew across several states in the Midwest. It then landed right outside of Mifflin.
This event became very famous and is now known as the Mifflin fireball. Scientists have found several pounds of meteorites from this event. A meteorite is a piece of rock or metal that falls to Earth from space.
The story of the Mifflin fireball was even shown on The Science Channel's TV show, Meteorite Men. Scientists at the University of Wisconsin have studied the meteorite. They classified it as a special type called an L5 chondrite.
