Michael Lupica (born May 11, 1952) is a well-known American author and former newspaper writer. He is famous for his strong opinions on sports, especially in the New York Daily News, and for appearing on ESPN.

About Michael Lupica
Michael Lupica was born in Oneida, New York. He lived there until he was about 12 years old. In 1964, his family moved to Nashua, New Hampshire. He went to middle school and then Bishop Guertin High School, finishing in 1970. He later graduated from Boston College in 1974.
Lupica first became known as a sportswriter in Pottstown, Pennsylvania. He wrote a column called "The Sporting Life" for Esquire magazine for ten years. He has also written for other popular magazines like Golf Digest, Parade, and ESPN The Magazine. He has won many awards for his writing. In 2003, he received the Jim Murray Award.
