History of Milford
Milford was first known as Bachelder. It was officially planned out in 1855. In its early days, Milford had a busy lumber mill.

Milford is found at 39°10′24″N 96°54′42″W / 39.17333°N 96.91167°W. This means it is located in the northern part of Kansas. The United States Census Bureau says the city covers about 0.59 square miles (1.48 square kilometers) of land. There is no water area within the city limits.
