Mililani Mauka is a special community located on the island of Oʻahu in Hawaii, United States. It's known as a census-designated place (CDP). This means it's an area identified by the government for statistics, but it doesn't have its own city government. In 2020, about 21,075 people lived in Mililani Mauka. It is a newer part of the larger Mililani area.

Mililani Mauka's History
Mililani Mauka is a carefully planned community. It sits right next to Mililani Town. Both areas are about 10 miles (16 km) northwest of the center of Honolulu.
Work on Mililani Mauka began on April 6, 1990. It was built to the east of Interstate H-2, which separates it from Mililani Town. The very first families moved into their new homes in Mauka in 1992. This community is also planned to be the future home of the Oahu Arts Center.
Where is Mililani Mauka?
Mililani Mauka is located at coordinates 21°28′32″N 157°59′40″W. The United States Census Bureau says that this community covers a total area of about 3.99 square miles (10.3 square kilometers). All of this area is land.
Mililani Mauka is found within the ʻEwa Moku on Oʻahu. More specifically, it's in the Waipiʻo Ahupuaʻa. An Ahupuaʻa is a traditional Hawaiian land division.
Who Lives in Mililani Mauka?
As of the 2020 census, there were 21,075 people living in Mililani Mauka. There were 7,655 homes, and 7,432 families. The area had about 5,277 people per square mile.
