Meet the Characters & Songs of Mini Studio

Who are the Main Characters?

Kikky (played by Marie-Christine Naim) was the main star of the show from the very beginning. People often compared her to famous French children's entertainers like Chantal Goya or Dorothee.

Kikky was joined by many fun characters. Some of these included Glagla Le Clown, Woonie Le Marin, and Sucette. There were also Papouf, Mamouf, Patitoupata, and Fanfan L'Elephant. The show even had its own original witch named Ambrosia and her crow, Cornefer.

How Were the Songs Created?

All the character names and songs were thought up and created by Ghazy Feghaly. He got his ideas from his niece, Youmna Chamcham. She had many imaginary friends, and their playtime together inspired many songs.

For example, "Monsieur Le Livre" was once Youmna's lullaby. Now, it's a song taught in nurseries and schools! Mini Studio was also the first show to record the Alphabet Song in Arabic back in 1996. Every year, the show released a new album. They also had special shows for Christmas and Easter.

Mini Studio's Exciting Musical Theater Shows

Bringing Fantasy Worlds to Life on Stage

Every year, Mini Studio created a brand new musical play. These plays brought their TV characters and stories to life on a real stage. They were very popular, attracting about 60,000 people each year!

Ghazy Feghaly wrote and directed a total of 22 original plays. Most of these plays were first in French. But starting in 2000, they began to include English and Arabic. This happened when the show started being broadcast worldwide through satellite TV and the internet.
