Molenlanden is a municipality in the Netherlands. It is located in the province of South Holland. This area is famous for its many windmills.
The municipality was formed on January 1, 2019. It was created by combining two older municipalities. These were Giessenlanden and Molenwaard. Molenlanden is found east of the city of Rotterdam. It lies along the Lek River.
