Monkey Cage Falls is a beautiful waterfall in Washington State. It is about 16-foot (4.9 m) tall. This waterfall gets its water from the Tye River. It is located high up, about 1,767 feet (538 meters) above sea level.

You can usually reach Monkey Cage Falls by kayak. There is also a hiking trail. This trail starts from a parking area. It leads to Deception Falls, which is upstream. From there, smaller paths lead to the Tye River. These paths offer angled views of Monkey Cage Falls.

These waterfalls are along Highway 2. Monkey Cage Falls is about 8.5 miles (13.7 kilometers) east of a town called Skykomish, Washington. It's also the same distance west of the Stevens Pass ski resort.

To get to Monkey Cage Falls, look for the Deception Creek Trailhead. This trailhead is off Forest Road 6088. Forest Road 6088 turns off from Highway 2.
