Monroe Point is a lovely waterfront neighborhood located in Colonial Beach, Virginia. It's found on State Road 205 in Virginia's historic Northern Neck area. This community is built in a beautiful natural spot right on Monroe Bay.

When it's all finished, Monroe Point will have over 300 homes, including townhomes and condominiums, all near the water. It's a "mixed-use" community, which means it has places to live and also fun things to do. For example, there's a marina (a place for boats), a clubhouse, a swimming pool, and a one-mile-long nature trail where you can explore.

Water Fun

The community is close to the Potomac River, which is about 6 miles wide near Colonial Beach. This wide river offers amazing views and lots of chances for boating, just like the bigger Chesapeake Bay. Monroe Point makes it easy to get to the river for all sorts of water activities.

Location and Growth

Monroe Point is located about 60 miles south of Washington, D.C.. It's also 25 miles east of Fredericksburg, Virginia and 60 miles north of Richmond, Virginia. This makes it easy to visit from several major cities.

As of November 2010, more than 70 townhomes had already been built. Even though there were some challenges in the housing market at that time, new homes continued to be built in this beautiful waterfront area.
