Mouna Esmaeilzadeh, born on April 15, 1980, is a Swedish-Iranian doctor, brain scientist, and businesswoman. She also appears on TV. She studied the brain and earned a special degree (Ph.D.) in neuroscience from a famous university in Stockholm, Sweden.

Early Life and Education
Mouna Esmaeilzadeh was born in Tehran, Iran. When she was three years old, she and her family moved to Sweden as refugees. She grew up near Stockholm. Her older brother is Saeid Esmaeilzadeh. Mouna is married to Rasmus Ingerslev, who helped start a fitness company called Barry's Bootcamp.
Mouna started her university studies by learning about Philosophy at Stockholm University. She then earned a master's degree in philosophy from the University of Oslo. After that, she decided to study medicine.
Becoming a Doctor and Brain Scientist
Mouna went to Karolinska Institutet, a well-known medical university. She became a licensed doctor in 2005. In 2011, she earned her Ph.D. in neuroscience. This means she became an expert in how the brain works.
Her special research focused on the dopamine system in the brain. She also looked at new ways to treat a brain disease called Huntington's Disease. While studying, she even started the first Philosophy Club at the Karolinska Institute.
Starting New Businesses
Mouna Esmaeilzadeh is also a successful businesswoman. She has started several companies.
SciLife Clinic
In 2009, Mouna started SciLife Clinic. This was one of the first clinics in the world focused on helping people live longer and healthier lives. The clinic used special techniques like genetic mapping. This helped to find ways to prevent diseases like cancer and cardiovascular diseases.
Mouna became the personal doctor for many important people. These included business leaders, artists, and even royalty. She sold SciLife Clinic in 2016 but still gives advice to others.
Esmaeilzadeh Holding (EHAB)
In 2020, Mouna co-founded a family investment company called Esmaeilzadeh Holding, or EHAB. She started this company with her brother, Saeid. They believed that their experience in starting businesses would make them better investors. They also thought that being investors would make them better at starting new companies.
By 2022, EHAB had invested in many different types of businesses. These included companies that use AI, real estate, and even dental clinics. Mouna has been the main leader of the board for EHAB since it began.
