How Mount Oberlin Got Its Name

Mount Oberlin was named in 1895 by Dr. Lyman B. Sperry. He was part of a group exploring the Glacier Park area at that time. Dr. Sperry decided to name the mountain after his employer, Oberlin College. This college is a well-known school located in Ohio, U.S.A.
