Grain Elevators
Along the BM&E's tracks, two large buildings called grain elevators were built. These elevators were used to store grain, like wheat or corn, before it was shipped out by train. The two elevators in Mouser are the Mouser Grain Elevator and the Mouser Woodframe Grain Elevator/Collingwood Elevator. They are considered historically important and are now listed on the National Register of Historic Places listings in Texas County, Oklahoma. This means they are recognized for their special history.
