Myra is a small place in Lincoln County, West Virginia, in the United States. It's called an "unincorporated community" because it doesn't have its own local government like a city or town. Myra is found along the Mud River. It's about 4 miles (6.4 km) south of a town called Hamlin.

Myra started as a community around September 7, 1883. This was when a post office first opened there. A post office is where people send and receive mail. This post office served the community for a very long time. It finally closed its doors on March 19, 2011.
