Narin (Irish: An Fhearthainn), also called Naran, is a lovely small village by the sea. It is found in the parish of Ardara, on the southwest coast of County Donegal, Ireland. The land around Narin is made up of rolling bogland and low, rocky hills.

Narin is known for its beautiful sandy beach, Narin Strand. This beach stretches for about two kilometres. Close by, you'll find Inishkeel island in Gweebarra Bay. This island is only about 250 metres from the mainland. You can even walk to it at low tide by crossing a sand bank!

Most people in Narin live in modern homes spread out across the countryside. The village is a popular spot for visitors. Many tourists come here, and they can stay in bed and breakfasts or caravan parks.

Narin offers a few fun things to do for visitors. You can find a local pub, a coffee shop, and public toilets. There is also a fantastic 18-hole golf course with its own clubhouse. It's a great place to enjoy the outdoors.

Narin is located at an altitude of 12 metres above sea level. It is about 8 kilometres north of Ardara. It's also 11 kilometres northwest of Glenties and 13 kilometres south of Dungloe.

A famous Irish writer named Brendan Behan stayed in Narin with his wife in 1961. They really enjoyed swimming in the sea during their visit.
