Early Life
Nataša Vojnović was born in a city called Brčko. This city was part of a country named Yugoslavia back then. When she was 12 years old, Nataša had to leave her home. She moved to Belgrade, which is the capital city of Serbia. This move happened because of the war in Bosnia.
Becoming a Model
Elite Model Look Competition
In 1996, Nataša entered a big modeling competition. It was called the Elite Model Look of Yugoslavia. She won the first rounds in her country. This meant she could go to the finals in Nice, France. Nataša did very well in the final competition. She made it into the top 15 contestants!
Starting Her Career
Nataša officially started her modeling career in 1999. She signed a contract with a company called NEXT Model Management. After that, she traveled to Paris and Milan. There, she walked in her first fashion shows for famous brands like Fendi and Balenciaga.
Her first big advertising job was for Chanel Accessories. A very famous photographer named Karl Lagerfeld took the pictures. Nataša's career quickly grew. She appeared in fashion magazines like Vogue Italia and i-D. She was also on the cover of British Vogue two times.
In 2000, Nataša signed a contract with Calvin Klein. For this job, she changed her blonde hair to red. She continued to work for many top fashion brands. These included Aquascutum, Blumarine, Gucci, and Stella McCartney. She also walked the runway for designers like Christian Dior.
More recently, Nataša has appeared on magazine covers. She was on the cover of Serbian Elle in 2010, 2012, and 2014. In March 2024, she was on the cover of the very first issue of Vogue Adria.
