Natalie Ann Holt (born June 29, 1982) is a talented British composer. She creates music for many movies and TV shows. You might know her work from films like Paddington (2014) or TV series such as Loki (2021–2023). Before becoming a famous film composer, she trained at the Royal Academy of Music and the National Film and Television School. She also had a career as a classical violinist. In 2017, she was recognized for her amazing work and became an associate of the Royal Academy of Music.

Natalie Holt's Music Career
Natalie Holt started her career helping with music for films like Stardust. After finishing her studies, she began writing her own music for short films. One of these was Friends Forever (2008), which won an award from the Royal Television Society. At the same time, she worked as a professional violinist.
Early Music Groups
In 2007, Natalie joined a string quartet called RaVen Quartet. They were based in London and played their own musical versions of songs. RaVen Quartet even performed with the band Madness at the 2012 London Olympics closing ceremony. They also played for Prince Harry at Buckingham Palace and toured with George Michael.
Breakthrough in Composing
Natalie's big break in composing came in 2012. She worked with Martin Phipps on the TV show Great Expectations. This work was nominated for a BAFTA award for Best Score. Later, she and Martin Phipps worked together on the BBC drama The Honourable Woman. For this, they won the 2015 Ivor Novello Award for Best Television Soundtrack. They were also nominated for another BAFTA. In 2017, she worked with Phipps again on Victoria. This earned her a nomination for a Primetime Emmy Award for "Outstanding Music Composition for a Series".
Notable TV Shows and Films
Natalie Holt has written original music for many other popular TV dramas. She won a BAFTA and a Royal Television Society award for her music in the series Three Girls. She also composed for My Mother and Other Strangers and the last series of Wallander. Other TV projects include The Boy With The Topknot, Press, Sticks and Stones, and Beecham House. In 2020, she was nominated for a Royal Television Society Award for her music in the ITV drama Deadwater Fell.
For films, Natalie composed music for Journey's End. She won Best Score at the Beijing International Film Festival for this film, sharing the award with Hildur Guðnadóttir. Her music for this film was praised for making the story exciting and creating a feeling of suspense. She also added music to the film Paddington. Natalie wrote the score for Pin Cushion, which was shown at the Venice Film Festival in 2018. In 2019, she worked on Infidel and Herself.
Marvel and Star Wars
Most recently, Natalie Holt composed music for the Marvel Studios Disney+ series Loki. This show is part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Her music for Loki was described as "suspenseful and mysterious." In 2022, it was announced that Natalie would compose for the Obi-Wan Kenobi series on Disney+.
