Nathalie Boltt (born July 19, 1973) is an actress, director, and writer from South Africa. She first became known for her role as Joey Ortlepp in the South African TV show Isidingo from 2001 to 2004. Many people know her best for playing Penelope Blossom in the popular teen drama series Riverdale from 2017 to 2023.

Growing Up and School
Nathalie grew up in Johannesburg, South Africa. She lived there during a time called apartheid, which was a system of unfair rules that separated people based on their race. In 1995, she finished her studies at Rhodes University in Grahamstown. She earned a degree in Acting and Dance.
Acting and Directing Career
Nathalie Boltt has been in many movies and TV shows. In 2005, she appeared in The Poseidon Adventure, which was a remake of an older film.
In 2009, she had a role in the science fiction action movie District 9, which was filmed in South Africa. She also acted in a New Zealand TV movie called Bloodlines. For her role in Bloodlines, she was nominated for an award for Best Supporting Actress in 2011.
Later, in 2017, she acted alongside Ethan Hawke in the movie 24 Hours to Live.
Nathalie also uses her voice for characters. She voiced DottyWot in the children's TV series The WotWots, which is from New Zealand.
In November 2024, Nathalie started filming her first movie as a director. The movie is called Holy Days and is being filmed in New Zealand. Famous actresses like Jackie Weaver, Judy Davis, and Miriam Margolyes are starring in it as three nuns.

Personal Life
