Power Rangers Operation Overdrive is the fifteenth season of the exciting Power Rangers television series. This season uses action scenes and ideas from a Japanese show called GoGo Sentai Boukenger. That show was celebrating its 30th anniversary!
Power Rangers Operation Overdrive also celebrated a big milestone. Its special team-up episode, "Once a Ranger," marked the 15th anniversary of the Power Rangers franchise. The show first aired on February 26, 2007, on Toon Disney's Jetix channel. It was the first Power Rangers season to use high-quality, widescreen video from the Japanese series.
Unlike other Power Ranger shows, Operation Overdrive sends the Rangers all over the world. They explore and fight in many different countries. They do not just stay in their home city of San Angeles.

How the Show Started
Before it was called Power Rangers Operation Overdrive, the show had other names. Some early ideas were Power Rangers Drive Force and "Relic Hunters."
On July 26, 2006, the show's logo was first shared online. It looked a lot like the logo from the Japanese show Boukenger. Later, on November 14, 2006, Disney launched the official website for Power Rangers Operation Overdrive.
What the Story is About
The story begins when a rich adventurer, Andrew Hartford, finds a powerful crown called the Corona Aurora. This crown has five missing magical jewels. If bad guys get these jewels, they could use the crown for evil.
Andrew Hartford chooses five brave and skilled young people: Mack Hartford, Will Aston, Dax Lo, Ronny Robinson, and Rose Ortiz. He gives them special powers to become the Power Rangers. Their mission is to travel the world and find the five jewels before villains like Flurious and Moltor do.
As they search, the Rangers meet other bad groups, Kamdor and the Fearcats. They also get help from an alien friend named Tyzonn, who joins their team.

Adventures and Episodes
The Power Rangers Operation Overdrive team goes on many exciting adventures. They travel all over the world to find the magical jewels of the Corona Aurora. Each jewel is hidden in a different place, often connected to ancient myths or legends.
Their journey begins when Andrew Hartford finds the Corona Aurora. This accidentally wakes up the evil brothers Moltor and Flurious, who also want the crown's jewels. Andrew recruits his team, but his son Mack ends up becoming the Red Ranger.
The Rangers search for clues in places like Atlantis, a lost city under the sea. They face challenges like Will not wanting to work with the team, or Dax falling for a villain in disguise. They also deal with Moltor's weather machine and a ghostly pirate named Brownbeard.
As they find more jewels, they gain new powers and Zords. They also meet new enemies like the Fearcats, who are powerful cyborgs. The Rangers often have to work together to defeat these strong villains and their giant robots.
One big challenge comes when all the villains team up. This powerful "Evil Alliance" is led by Thrax, the son of Lord Zedd and Rita Repulsa. The Overdrive Rangers lose their powers! To protect the world, the Sentinel Knight brings together a team of past Power Rangers to help. These returning Rangers work to fix the Morphing Grid, which is the source of all Power Ranger powers.
Later in the season, Mack discovers a shocking secret about himself. This makes him question everything, but he still fights to protect his friends and the world. The Rangers continue their search for the jewels, traveling to places like Norway and Mexico. They even meet characters from Norse mythology like Loki and Thor!
The final battles are intense. The Rangers must stop Flurious from getting all the jewels and unleashing his power. They face tough choices and big risks to save the world from total destruction. In the end, they must use all their courage and teamwork to defeat the last villain and secure the Corona Aurora.
