Power Rangers Jungle Fury is the sixteenth season of the American television series Power Rangers. It is based on Juken Sentai Gekiranger, a Japanese Super Sentai show.

This season first aired on February 18, 2008, on Jetix (part of Toon Disney). It was the last Power Rangers season to be shown on these channels before Disney XD started in February 2009.

Story of the Jungle Fury Rangers

For over 10,000 years, a very evil spirit named Dai Shi was kept locked away. A secret Kung Fu group called the Pai Zhuq, or "Order of the Claw," guarded it.

New Guardians Chosen

The Pai Zhuq chose their three best students: Jarrod, Theo Martin, and Lily Chilman. They were meant to be the new guardians of Dai Shi. But Jarrod was too proud and mean, so a new student named Casey Rhodes was chosen instead.

Dai Shi Escapes

During a special ceremony, Jarrod came back and attacked Master Mao, the leader. This accidentally broke the container holding Dai Shi's spirit. Dai Shi escaped and took over Jarrod's body.

Finding a New Master

The new guardians traveled to Ocean Bluff city to find their new master. They found him: a man named Robert "RJ" James, who owned a pizza place called Jungle Karma Pizza. After testing them, RJ gave them the powers of the Jungle Fury Power Rangers. They became Earth's only hope against Dai Shi.

Fighting Evil

Dai Shi, along with his helper Camille, other bad guys, and an army of undead Rinshi warriors, wanted to take over the world. They wanted animals to rule over humans.

New Rangers Join the Team

At first, RJ only trained the Rangers. But later, he joined them as the Jungle Fury Purple Wolf Ranger. They were also joined by Dominic "Dom" Hargan, who became the White Rhino Power Ranger. Fran, who worked at the pizza place, helped by watching monitors for Rinshi attacks.

Camille and Jarrod's Change

Later, other villains became jealous of Camille. They didn't know that she was actually starting to like Jarrod's human spirit, which was fighting against Dai Shi. Because of this, Camille turned against Dai Shi. This helped Jarrod break free from the evil spirit. Jarrod and Camille then joined the Power Rangers.

Defeating Dai Shi

The Rangers used their animal spirits to finally defeat Dai Shi and his forces.
