The Pai Zhua Order: Guardians of Earth
The Pai Zhua (pronounced "Pie Zhoo-ah"), also known as the Order of the Claw, are the good guys in this story. Each member has a special Animal Spirit that gives them unique powers. They combine martial arts with these animal abilities to protect Earth. Their main goal is to stop the evil Dai Shi Clan, who want to take over the world with evil beasts and get rid of humans. The Pai Zhua use their combined human and animal powers to fight for what's right.
The Pai Zhua have different groups, but they all share the same mission: to defend Earth from Dai Shi and his plans.
Meet the Jungle Fury Rangers
The Power Rangers in this series mix human martial arts with Animal Spirits and special technology. This combination helps them fight evil. As the show goes on, the younger Rangers learn important lessons that help them grow.
The Rangers don't all become a team at the same time; their stories come together as the series unfolds.
Theo, the Blue Ranger, and Lily, the Yellow Ranger, are introduced as two of the Pai Zhua's top students. They had to fight in a special competition to decide who would guard the chest holding the evil spirit Dai Shi. Theo and Lily won their battles and were chosen for this important job.
Casey, the Red Ranger, starts out as an assistant to the Pai Zhua students. His life changes a lot before he becomes a Ranger.
Jarrod, another top student, won his competition but lost his guardian role quickly. He was being unfair to an assistant, and Casey stepped in to help. Jarrod got angry and pushed Casey, who then let out a powerful tiger's roar. Master Mao, their teacher, saw this and chose Casey to guard Dai Shi's chest instead of Jarrod. This is how Casey became the third guardian.
Casey Rhodes: The Red Ranger
Casey Rhodes, played by Jason Smith, was new to the Pai Zhua Academy. He was known as a "cub" and had the spirit of the tiger. Casey's strength comes from standing up for what he believes in and protecting others. He doesn't like bullies. When Casey defended a fellow student from Jarrod, Master Mao saw Casey's potential. He chose Casey to guard Dai Shi's prison.
After Master Mao was defeated and Dai Shi escaped, Casey, Lily, and Theo went to Ocean Bluff. There, they met their new master, RJ, who gave Casey the powers of the Jungle Fury Red Ranger. Casey sometimes doubted himself because his teammates were more experienced. He felt he had to work extra hard. At the Jungle Karma Pizza parlor, he was great at making pizzas. Casey also had to learn what it takes to be a leader for his team.
Casey could be a bit too confident sometimes, like when he tried to fight Dai Shi alone and got hurt. Later, he learned the shark technique from RJ's father, Master Finn. Casey eventually made up with RJ and realized RJ would always be his true master.
When the Rangers lost their master, RJ, they went back to the Pai Zhua Academy. Master Mao's spirit guided them to the Spirit World to train with three fallen masters. Casey faced his childhood fear of a monster in his closet and passed his test. This helped him gain the Claw Boosters, Jungle Master mode, and the Gorilla Spirit Zord.
Casey could also call on the Shark Spirit Ranger when he needed help. At one point, his tiger spirit was stolen, making it dangerous for him to morph. A young student he was teaching helped him regain his power. Casey even helped and befriended Whiger, a villain who had lost his powers. Whiger then helped Casey save his friends before fading away.
Casey later earned his Master Stripes from RJ after successfully helping Jarrod break free from Dai Shi's control. After the final battle, Casey became a teacher at the Pai Zhua academy, with Jarrod and Camille as his students.
In Super Megaforce, Casey teaches Kung Fu and works part-time at a zoo. He helped other Power Rangers fight a monster, showing his skills even without his Ranger powers.
Lily Chilman: The Yellow Ranger
Lily Chilman, played by Anna Hutchison, is a lively young woman with the Cheetah Spirit. She was excited to become the Jungle Fury Yellow Ranger. She later learned to control the Elephant Spirit and the Jungle Mace from Master Phant. She also gained the Penguin Spirit from Master Guin in the Spirit World.
Lily was a long-time student at Pai Zhua. After passing her final test, she was chosen to help guard Dai Shi's spirit with Casey and Theo.
When Dai Shi escaped and Master Mao was defeated, Lily, Casey, and Theo found their new master, RJ, at Jungle Karma Pizza. As the Yellow Ranger, Lily had to learn to take situations more seriously. She was a skilled fighter but sometimes didn't understand how dangerous things truly were.
After mastering new techniques, the Rangers thought they were unbeatable. But Dai Shi had also been training. When they fought him again, they lost badly, and RJ had to step in to save them. The Rangers realized their overconfidence was a problem.
With Master Mao's help, they traveled to the Spirit World. Lily faced her fear of spiders and gained the power to summon the Penguin Zord and use her Jungle Master Mode.
Later, Lily passed her Pai Zhua Masters Test by battling Master Phant, earning her title as a Pai Zhua Cheetah Master.
In the final battle against Dai Shi, Lily, Casey, and Theo combined their powers to reach an incredible level of strength. This powerful attack finally destroyed Dai Shi for good.
After the victory, Lily and Theo continued working at Jungle Karma Pizza. Theo finally asked Lily on a date, and she said yes!
Lily also appeared in Super Megaforce as part of the veteran Ranger army.
Theo Martin: The Blue Ranger
Theo Martin, played by Aljin Abella, is a smart and skilled Pai Zhua fighter with the Jaguar Spirit. He became the Jungle Fury Blue Ranger. Theo learned to be a better team player. He gained control of the Bat Spirit and Jungle Fans after training with Master Swoop. Later, he learned the Antelope Spirit from Master Lope in the Spirit World. Theo has an identical twin brother named Lewin. He also had a crush on Lily and eventually asked her out on a date in the last episode.
Theo later joined the final battle against the Warstar Armada in Super Megaforce.

Years ago, RJ's father, Master Finn, tried to make him learn the Shark Technique. But RJ wanted to find his own path. He left home and found a master who taught him the ways of the Wolf. RJ became the new Wolf Master and later opened Jungle Karma Pizza.
When Dai Shi escaped, Casey, Theo, and Lily came to Ocean Bluff to find their new master. They were surprised to find it was the pizza shop owner!
RJ is a calm and laid-back teacher, but he is very skilled in Pai Zhua. He connected the Rangers' Solar Morphers to the Morphin Grid, giving them their Power Ranger abilities.
RJ is a powerful fighter. He used his Wolf Spirit to save his father from Dai Shi. He even sacrificed his own freedom to save his Rangers, allowing Dai Shi to attack his Wolf Spirit directly.
This attack turned RJ into a werewolf for a while, making him crave raw meat and change into a full wolf form. He almost attacked his friend Fran, but her kindness helped him regain control. After this, RJ revealed his Wolf Morpher and became the Wolf Ranger, fighting alongside his team. He uses his Wolf Morpher as a weapon and can summon his Wolf Zord.
RJ watched his students take their mastery exams. He gave Casey his Master Stripes after Casey successfully freed Jarrod from Dai Shi. In the final battle, RJ helped weaken Dai Shi. After the victory, RJ continued running Jungle Karma Pizza with Theo, Lily, and Flit.
He also joined the other Jungle Fury Rangers in battling the Warstar Armada in Super Megaforce.
Dominic "Dom" Hargan: The Rhino Ranger
Dominic "Dom" Hargan, played by Nikolai Nikolaeff, was a student of Master Mao's who left to find his own way. After six years, he returned to Jungle Karma Pizza. He was first rejected by the other Rangers because he seemed irresponsible. But he proved himself by saving Fran with his refined techniques. With control over the Rhinoceros Spirit, Dominic became the Jungle Fury Rhino Ranger. He uses the Control Dagger to summon the Rhino Steel Zord.
Unlike the other Rangers, he didn't officially become a Master in the finale, but he might have already reached that rank. In the last episode, he went traveling and asked Fran to come with him.
Dominic also joined the final battle in Super Megaforce as part of the veteran Ranger army.
Spirit Rangers: Powerful Allies
The Spirit Rangers were first created by the Phantom Beasts to fight the Power Rangers. They used special Crystal Eyes to control the Pai Zhua Masters. Once the Masters were freed, they fought alongside the Rangers. Later, the Masters could let the Rangers summon the Spirit Rangers to fight with them. In the final battle, the Spirit Rangers fought alongside their Masters and the Jungle Fury Power Rangers. These Rangers are unique to this series.

He was defeated by the first Pai Zhua warriors and sealed inside a chest. But when Jarrod accidentally attacked Master Mao, Dai Shi was released. He defeated Mao and took over Jarrod's body to start his evil plans again, beginning a new "Beast War." Even though he used Jarrod's body, Jarrod still had some control, which caused problems for Dai Shi later on.
Eventually, Casey helped Jarrod break free, forcing Dai Shi out of his body. Without a host, Dai Shi gathered enough fear to bring back his army. After his army was defeated, Dai Shi used the masters' animal spirits to get his physical form back – a huge, golden, multi-headed dragon monster that seemed unbeatable. However, Jarrod attacked Dai Shi from the inside, weakening him enough for Casey, Theo, and Lily to finally destroy him.

He was skilled enough to be chosen as a guardian of Dai Shi's prison, but his arrogance led Master Mao to choose Casey instead. Angry, Jarrod attacked Mao, accidentally freeing Dai Shi. Jarrod ran away, but Dai Shi took over his body. Even though Dai Shi controlled him, Jarrod still had his memories and feelings. He blamed Casey for his problems and easily defeated Casey in their first fight.
Jarrod trained with evil masters to become stronger. He helped Dai Shi in many battles. However, Master Mao's spirit tried to reach the good part of Jarrod. This made Jarrod question Dai Shi. He went on a quest to the Rhino Nexus to get more power.
Jarrod eventually fought Grizzaka and took back his leadership. He also helped the Phantom Beasts become loyal to Dai Shi. But as time went on, Jarrod's own feelings started to cause problems for Dai Shi.
Eventually, Casey fought Jarrod and helped him break free from Dai Shi's control. Jarrod then helped Casey fight Scorch. After losing his confidence, he regained it and used his power to weaken Dai Shi from the inside, allowing the Rangers to destroy him.
