Nathan Crowley grew up in Islington, a part of North London, England. His family had a creative and building background. His dad was an architect, who designs buildings. His mom was an artist. His grandpa worked as a builder's merchant, selling materials for construction.
Crowley went to Leighton Park School. After that, he studied at the Sir John Cass School of Art. He then graduated from Brighton Polytechnic, which is now called the University of Brighton. He earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Three-dimensional design. This type of design focuses on creating objects and spaces. Before working in movies, he had different jobs in architecture.
