Nealon Greene, born on April 13, 1976, is a former American football player. He was a quarterback in the CFL for nine seasons. Before playing professionally, he played college football at Clemson University.

Early Life
Nealon Greene was born in Yonkers, New York. When he was finishing high school, a coach named Rich Bisaccia from Clemson University recruited him. Coach Bisaccia was also from Yonkers, and Nealon knew him through his family.
College Football Career
Nealon played college football at Clemson. He became the school's all-time leader in passing yards. This means he threw for more yards than any other player in Clemson's history!
Professional Football Career
Nealon Greene played for several teams during his time in the CFL. He was known for his ability to both throw the ball and run with it.
Toronto Argonauts
In 1998, Nealon joined the Toronto Argonauts, a team in the Canadian Football League. This was his first professional team.
Edmonton Eskimos
In 1999, Nealon was traded to the Edmonton Eskimos. He rejoined his old coach, Don Matthews, there. On July 16, 1999, Nealon set a new CFL record. He ran for 180 yards in one game, which was the most ever by a quarterback! He also threw for over 300 yards in two games that season.
In 2000, Nealon became the main starting quarterback for the Eskimos. The team had a good season, winning 10 games. In 2001, Nealon started six games, but another quarterback, Jason Maas, eventually took over as the starter.
Saskatchewan Roughriders
In 2002, Nealon was traded to the Saskatchewan Roughriders. He started 15 games for the team that year. He rushed for over 100 yards in two different games. The Roughriders made it to the playoffs for the first time in a while.
In 2003, Nealon started 16 games and helped the Roughriders have a winning season. They won their first playoff game against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. However, they lost in the next round to the Edmonton Eskimos.
The 2004 season started tough for Nealon. He broke his leg in the first game, which ended his season. He recovered and returned in 2005. He started as the main quarterback again. The team had some ups and downs that season. Nealon helped the Roughriders win their last regular season game. Even though they had a tough season, they still made it to the playoffs.
Montreal Alouettes
In 2006, Nealon was traded to the Montreal Alouettes. He was a backup quarterback for the team. He retired from professional football after this season.
After Football
After retiring from football, Nealon Greene went back to Clemson University. He continued his education there.
