She is well-known for her roles in movies like Gold and Copper (2010), Here Without Me (2011), A Cube of Sugar (2011), and The Painting Pool (2013). Negar has won many awards for her acting. These include a Crystal Simorgh, two Iran Cinema Celebration Awards, and an Iran's Film Critics and Writers Association Award. She was also nominated for two Hafez Awards.

Negar Javaherian was born in Tehran, Iran, on January 12, 1983. She started her acting career in the early 2000s. One of her first roles was a small part in the movie I, Taraneh, Am 15 (2001).
