Nesrin Cavadzade (born July 30, 1982) is a talented actress from Turkey. She has Azerbaijani roots and is known for her many roles in Turkish films and TV shows. Her grandfather was a famous Azerbaijani scientist named Mirmammad Cavadzade.

Biography

Early Life and Moving to Turkey

Nesrin Cavadzade was born in Baku, which is the capital city of Azerbaijan. When she was 11 years old, she moved to Istanbul, Turkey, with her mother.

Education and Early Acting

Nesrin went to Özel Bilgi Lisesi for middle school. There, she joined the drama club. Later, at Şişli Terakki Lisesi for high school, she continued to be part of the drama club.

While she was still a student, Nesrin made five short films. These films were shown at different festivals both in Turkey and around the world. One of them was the Berlinale Talent Campus, which is part of the famous Berlin International Film Festival. Her films even won several awards!

After high school, she studied Cinema and TV at Marmara University's Fine Arts Faculty.

Starting Her Career in TV and Film

Nesrin began her acting career on television in a show called Yersiz Yurtsuz. After that, she appeared in many other TV series. Some of these include Görüş Günü Kadınları and Küçük Ağa. She also acted in TV shows that were based on classic Turkish novels, like Samanyolu and Al Yazmalım.

Nesrin has also starred in many films. She won an award for Best Supporting Actress at the International Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival in 2011 for her role in Güzel Günler Göreceğiz. In 2014, she won Best Actress at the same festival for her performance in Kuzu.
