New Apostolic church facts for kids
The New Apostolic Church (NAC) is a Christian denomination. It divided from the Catholic Apostolic Church by the 1863 Schism of Hamburg. The church has congregations in all around the world and about 10 million members worldwide. The international head quarter of the New Apostolic Church is located in Zurich (Switzerland).
Charity and the Second Coming of Christ are the main ideas of the New Apostolic church. Most of its ideas are related to mainstream Christianity. It also has a liturgy similar to Protestantism and it is organized like the Roman Catholic Church.
The church calls itself the Early Church. Its spiritual leaders call themselves Apostles.
