New Limerick is a small town in Aroostook County, Maine, in the United States. In 2020, about 574 people lived there.
The town was first settled in 1775. It officially became a town on March 18, 1837. Its name comes from the fact that many early settlers had lived in another town called Limerick in York County, which is in southern Maine. That town was probably named after the city of Limerick in Ireland.
