New Summerfield is a small city located in Cherokee County, Texas, in the United States. In 2020, about 843 people lived there.

Where is New Summerfield?

New Summerfield is found in the northeastern part of Cherokee County. A main road, U.S. Route 79, goes right through the town. If you go west on this road for about 10 miles (16 km), you'll reach Jacksonville. This is the biggest city in Cherokee County. If you head northeast for about 22 miles (35 km), you'll get to Henderson.

Another important road, Texas State Highway 110, crosses US 79 in the middle of New Summerfield. Going north on Highway 110 for about 11 miles (18 km) takes you to Troup. If you go south for about 14 miles (23 km), you'll arrive in Rusk. Rusk is the main city where the county government is located.
