Round 1: The Action Round
This round featured exciting physical challenges from the different Nickelodeon game shows. Teams earned points based on how well they did. First place got 300 points, second got 200, and third got 100.
Guts Challenges
- Slam Dunk: Players jumped from a high bridge. They tried to shoot a basketball through a hoop. They had 60 seconds to score as many baskets as possible.
- Dodge It: This was like dodgeball! Players bounced around on elastic cords. They tried to catch dodgeballs and hit their opponents. The player with the most hits won.
- Slam-A-Jama: One player tried to score baskets in a hoop. Other players tried to block their shots. The player with the most baskets won.
Legends of the Hidden Temple Challenges
- Warrior Games: Teams used slingshots to launch balls at targets. The goal was to knock down four targets. The first team to do it, or the team with the most knocked down, won.
- Spin Wheels: Players climbed onto spinning turntables. They used their weight to make the turntables spin. Each full spin earned points. The highest score in a minute won.
- Axis Spin: Two teammates were in a moving contraption. They had to leap up to grab objects. Then they placed the objects in their basket. The team with the most objects won.
Double Dare Challenges
- William Tell: One player used a bow to shoot plungers at a target on a plexiglass wall. The first to stick three plungers won. When they won, a bucket of slime fell on their teammate!
- Pies in your Pants: One teammate launched pies with a catapult. The other teammate tried to catch them in huge clown pants. The team with the most pies caught won.
- Rubber Baby Bungee Jumpers: One player was hooked into a giant diaper and hung in the air. Their teammate rolled balloons down a ramp. The "diapered" player popped balloons to fill a bucket with "milk." The first team to fill their bucket won.
What Would You Do? Challenges
- Mermaid Splash: Celebrities dressed as mermaids! They tried to launch fish from a pool into a bucket using their mermaid fins. The team with the most fish in 60 seconds won.
- Human Bowling: One team member was strapped into a giant ball. They were rolled towards oversized bowling pins. The team with the highest score after two tries won.
- Sumo Wrestling: Three players wore huge sumo suits. They tried to push each other out of a ring. The player who stayed in the ring the longest won points.
Round 2: The Gakfest Question Round
This was a trivia round! One team asked questions to the other teams. One player from each team tried to answer. If a team answered correctly, they got 100 points. The player they competed against (not the one who read the question) got slimed! If both teams answered wrong, they both got slimed. The team that asked the question got 100 points. The team with the correct answer got to ask the next question.
In the Finals, the team with the lowest score after this round was eliminated.
Round 3: The Action Finale
This was the big final event! It took place outside Nickelodeon Studios. Before the event, teams could pick people from the audience to help them. This cost them 100 points per person. For the Finals, the two remaining teams had to use up all their points to get extra players.
Here are some of the final challenges:
- Big Ball Volleyball: This was a three-way volleyball game with a giant ball. Standard volleyball rules applied. The team with the highest score after 3 minutes won.
- Gak Gauntlet: One team member had to run from one end to the other. They had to dodge gak balloons thrown by the other teams. Each successful run scored a point. The team with the most points won.
- Gakheads: Gak-filled balloons were launched at players. Players had to grab a balloon and pop it on their helmet (which had pins on it) to score. The team with the most points after 3 minutes won.
For the first two episodes, the points for this final round were higher. First place got 1000 points, second got 750, and third got 500. In the Finals, the team that won "Gakheads" became the champion!
