Nicole Collins is a Canadian artist known for her unique artworks. She creates paintings, performances, videos, and sound pieces. Her art often explores how time, layers, force, and heat affect different materials. She currently teaches art at OCAD University in Toronto.

Learning to Create: Nicole's Education

Nicole Collins studied art at two major universities. She earned her Master of Visual Studies degree from the University of Toronto in 2009. Before that, she received her Bachelor of Arts degree with Honours from the University of Guelph in 1988. These studies helped her develop her artistic skills and ideas.

Nicole's Art Journey: Exhibitions and Galleries

Nicole Collins started showing her art in the early 1990s. Her work has been seen all over the world! She has had exhibitions in galleries in Canada, America, Tokyo, Switzerland, and England.

Today, her art is represented by General Hardware Contemporary in Toronto, Ontario. In 2013, Nicole and her husband, Michael Davidson, even opened their own art gallery. It was right in their living room at 26 McKenzie Crescent in Toronto!
