Nijiro Murakami (born March 17, 1997) is a Japanese actor and voice actor. He is known for his roles in movies and TV shows.
One of his most famous roles was Kaito in the 2014 film Still the Water. This movie was even shown at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival. He also got great reviews for his acting in Last of the Wolves (2021). This role earned him a nomination for Best Supporting Actor at the 45th Japan Academy Film Prize. Many people around the world also know him as Shuntaro Chishiya in the Netflix show Alice in Borderland, which aired from 2020 to 2022.

Early Life and Start of Career
Nijiro Murakami was born in Tokyo, Japan, on March 17, 1997. His father is the actor Jun Murakami, and his mother is the singer Ua. He is their only child.
When he was nine years old, his parents divorced. He grew up with his mother, his stepfather, and his three younger half-siblings. While he was still in school, his family moved to Okinawa. Murakami also spent some years studying in Montreal, Canada.
He started his acting career in 2014. His first main role was Kaito in the movie Still the Water. For this role, he won the Best Newcomer Award at the 29th Takasaki Film Festival. In 2015, he began acting in TV shows with Tenshi no Naifu. Later that year, he also starred in a live-action TV movie based on the popular anime series Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day. He also appeared in the film Wasurenai to Chikatta Boku ga Ita.
As a voice actor, he is well-known for being the voice of Hiro Shishigami. This character is from the anime version of the Inuyashiki manga series.
