Nixon is a small community in Washoe County, Nevada, USA. It is known as a census-designated place (CDP). This means it is a place that looks like a town but isn't officially a city. In 2020, about 464 people lived there.
Nixon is part of the larger Reno–Sparks area. It is also very important to the Paiute people. It serves as the main center for the Pyramid Lake Indian Reservation. The tribe's Museum and Visitor Center are located here.

Nixon was named after George Stuart Nixon. He was a Senator who represented Nevada in the U.S. Senate. He served from 1905 to 1912.
