Noble Henry Willingham, Jr. (born August 31, 1931 – died January 17, 2004) was an American actor. He appeared in many movies and TV shows. You might know him best from his role as C.D. Parker in the TV series Walker, Texas Ranger, where he acted alongside Chuck Norris.

His Early Life
Noble Willingham was born in a small town called Mineola, in Texas. His father worked on the railroad and was also a farmer.
After high school, Noble went to college. He studied at North Texas State College and then earned a master's degree from Baylor University. His master's degree was in educational psychology, which is about how people learn and think. He also served in the United States Army during the Korean War.
Becoming an Actor
Before becoming an actor, Noble Willingham was a teacher. He taught government and economics at a high school in Houston. But he had a dream of acting.
His acting career began when he tried out for a movie called The Last Picture Show in 1971. The movie was filmed in Texas, and he got a part! This led to more acting jobs, including another movie called Paper Moon in 1973.
Famous Roles
Noble Willingham acted in over thirty movies. Some of his well-known films include Chinatown (1974), Good Morning, Vietnam (1987), and Ace Ventura: Pet Detective (1994). He also appeared in City Slickers (1991) and its sequel City Slickers II: The Legend of Curly's Gold (1994).
On television, he had a regular role in the show Home Improvement with Tim Allen. He also appeared in many popular TV shows as a guest star. These included Dallas, The A-Team, Murder, She Wrote, and Star Trek: The Next Generation.
His most famous role was C.D. Parker on Walker, Texas Ranger. He played this character from 1993 to 1999. He left the show to try and become a member of the United States House of Representatives. This is a part of the U.S. government where laws are made.
His Later Years
Noble Willingham passed away on January 17, 2004. He was 72 years old. He died from a heart attack in Palm Springs. Because he served in the United States Army during the Korean War, he was buried at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, California.
