Northwest Harborcreek is a special area in Erie County, Pennsylvania, United States. It's called a "census-designated place" (CDP) because the government counts its population separately. In 2010, about 8,949 people lived here. This area includes smaller communities like Fairfield and Brookside. It's also part of the larger Erie city area.

Location and Landscape
Northwest Harborcreek is found in the northwestern part of Harborcreek Township. This is in the northeastern section of Erie County. The area is located at 42°8′53″N 79°59′44″W / 42.14806°N 79.99556°W.
To its west, you'll find Lawrence Park Township, the town of Wesleyville, and the city of Erie. The northern border of Northwest Harborcreek is the beautiful shore of Lake Erie.
Major Roads and Travel
Several important roads run through Northwest Harborcreek. Pennsylvania Route 5 (East Lake Road) goes through the northern part of the area, near Fairfield. This road leads southwest about 5 miles (8 km) to downtown Erie. It also goes northeast about 14 miles (23 km) to the New York state line.
U.S. Route 20 (Buffalo Road) crosses through the middle of Northwest Harborcreek. It travels southwest through Wesleyville, about 4 miles (6 km) into Erie. To the northeast, it goes about 10 miles (16 km) to the town of North East.
Pennsylvania Route 430 passes through the southwestern part of the area, near Brookside. This route goes northwest into Wesleyville. It also heads southeast about 2 miles (3 km) to Interstate 90 at Exit 32.
