Interstate 90 (or I-90) is a very long highway in the United States. It's part of the Interstate Highway System, which is a big network of roads that connect states across the country. I-90 stretches for about 3,020 miles (4,860 kilometers), making it the longest Interstate in the U.S.!
This amazing road starts in Seattle, Washington, on the west coast. It then travels all the way across the country to Boston, Massachusetts, on the east coast. Imagine driving from one side of the country to the other on one road!

About Interstate 90
I-90 was officially created in 1956. It was built to help people travel faster and more easily across the country. The highway goes through 13 different states, connecting many major cities and towns along the way.

- In Chicago, Illinois, it crosses paths with Interstate 55. Chicago is a very big city, and I-90 helps many people get in and out of it.
- In Lake Station, Indiana, it joins Interstate 80 and Interstate 94.
- In Albany, New York, it connects with Interstate 87.
- Finally, in Weston, Massachusetts, it meets Interstate 95, which runs along the East Coast.

- I-90 is known for some unique parts, like the floating bridges in Washington State. These bridges actually float on Lake Washington!

- One of the last parts of I-90 to be finished was a special bridge in Wallace, Idaho, which was completed in 1991.
