Notre Dame Cemetery is a special place in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It is a Catholic cemetery, which means it is connected to the Catholic faith. The cemetery first opened in 1872. It is the most important Catholic cemetery in Ottawa.
You can find the cemetery in the eastern part of Ottawa. Its western side is in Vanier, close to Beechwood Cemetery. The eastern edge reaches St. Laurent Boulevard. More than 114,000 people have been laid to rest here.
