Ohanna Shivanand, born Shilpa Shivanand on December 10, 1982, is an Indian model and actress. She is well-known for her roles as Dr. Riddhima Gupta and Dr. Shilpa Malhotra in the TV show Dill Mill Gayye. Ohanna has also acted in Indian films, appeared in music videos, and starred in many TV commercials. Her last film was the Bollywood movie Yeh Hai Lollipop in 2016.

Early Life and Education
Ohanna Shivanand was born in South Africa on December 10, 1982. She went to school there before moving to India, where her parents were from. In 2015, she changed her name to Ohanna Shivanand. She explained that she wanted a unique name, and 'Ohanna' means "God's precious gift" or "family."
Ohanna is the younger sister of Sakshi Shivanand, who is also an actress. Ohanna studied Computer Applications and earned a Masters Degree (MCA) between 2000 and 2003. Before becoming a full-time actress, she worked for five years as a software developer. She focused on Java J2EE application development and E-Learning.
Starting Her Career
Ohanna Shivanand began her career as a model. She appeared in more than 40 commercials for big brands. Some of these included Coca-Cola with Aamir Khan, Lux soap with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and Dabur Pudin Hara and Nerolac Paint with Amitabh Bachchan. She was a popular face in advertising many different products.
Ohanna then started acting in the South Indian film industry. Her first movie was Bezawada Police Station. In 2003, she starred in the Telugu film Vishnu alongside Vishnu Manchu. She made her Bollywood debut in 2006 with the film Iqraar by Chance, where she played Rashmi Mehra.
Television Roles
Ohanna Shivanand is also well-known for her work on television. She started her TV career in 2007 with the medical youth show Dill Mill Gayye. In this show, she played the role of Dr. Riddhima Gupta. The show became very popular on Star One, and Ohanna quickly became a success.
She left Dill Mill Gayye in May 2008, which caused the show's ratings to drop. She later returned to the show in June 2010, playing a different character, Dr. Shilpa Malhotra. However, her role was cut short, and she left the show again in October 2010.
In 2012, Ohanna appeared in the BBC Production telefilm Teri Meri Love Stories, playing the character Meera. She also had a special guest role in the BIG Magic channel's show Mahisagar in 2015.
