Okapilco Creek is a cool waterway in Georgia. It's about 63-mile-long (101 km), which is like driving for an hour at highway speed! This creek is a "tributary," meaning it's a smaller stream that flows into a bigger river. Okapilco Creek joins the Withlacoochee River.

The waters from Okapilco Creek travel a long way. After joining the Withlacoochee River, they flow into the Suwannee River. Finally, all these waters reach the huge Gulf of Mexico.

Okapilco Creek's Journey

The journey of Okapilco Creek starts in southern Worth County. It begins near a place called Anderson City. From there, the creek flows toward the southeast.

As it travels, Okapilco Creek passes through two more counties. These are Colquitt County and Brooks County. After flowing for many miles, the creek meets the Withlacoochee River. This meeting point is about 6 miles (10 km) southeast of Quitman.
