In doubles, she reached No. 24 in August 2011. Olga has won 9 singles titles on the ITF Circuit and 8 doubles titles on the WTA Tour.

Olga Govortsova's Tennis Journey
Olga Govortsova started her professional tennis career in 2002. She quickly began to make a name for herself in the sport.
Early Career Highlights
Olga reached her first big final on the WTA Tour in 2008 at the Memphis Championships. She played against the famous player Lindsay Davenport but lost the match.
She was sponsored by Wilson for her tennis gear and by the Chinese clothing company Peak. A French sports agency, Lagardère Unlimited, represented her.
Playing in 2009
Olga started 2009 at the Brisbane International tournament. She beat Francesca Schiavone and made it to the quarterfinals. However, she then lost to Sara Errani.
At the Australian Open, one of the four biggest tournaments in tennis, she lost in the first round to Amélie Mauresmo. Later that year, in October, she reached another final at the Kremlin Cup, where she again lost to Francesca Schiavone.
Playing in 2010
In 2010, Olga played at the Brisbane International but lost in the first round. She also lost in the first round of the Australian Open.
A big moment for her in 2010 was at the Amelia Island tournament. She had a great run, beating several strong players like Alona Bondarenko and Dominika Cibulková. She made it to her third WTA Tour singles final but was defeated by Caroline Wozniacki.
Playing in 2015
In 2015, Olga had a notable performance at Wimbledon. This was a special tournament for her because she reached the fourth round of a Grand Slam for the first time ever. She won against tough players like Alizé Cornet and Magdaléna Rybáriková. Her journey at Wimbledon ended when she lost to Madison Keys.
Later in 2015, at the Rogers Cup, Olga qualified for the main part of the tournament. She won her first match but then lost to Ana Ivanovic.

In doubles, Olga had more success, winning 8 titles and reaching 6 other finals on the WTA Tour. One of her biggest wins was at the China Open in 2010. She also won titles in Istanbul (2008), Guangzhou (2009), Tashkent (2009), Memphis (2011), Birmingham (2011), New Haven (2011), and Strasbourg (2012).
WTA Challenger and ITF Finals
Olga also competed in WTA 125 tournaments, which are a step below the main WTA Tour. She reached one singles final in 2021 at the Swedish Open, finishing as runner-up. In doubles, she won one WTA 125 title in 2021 at the Serbia Challenger Open and was a runner-up once in 2012.
On the ITF Circuit, which is a level below the WTA Tour, Olga won 9 singles titles and reached 7 other finals. She also won 3 doubles titles and was a runner-up 6 times on the ITF Circuit.
World TeamTennis Involvement
