Omar Laquon Regan (born June 12, 1975) is an American comedian, actor, and former musician. He is known for his stand-up comedy and for acting in movies.

Early Life and Family
Omar Regan was born in Detroit, Michigan, in the United States. He grew up in Highland Park, Michigan. His parents were African American.
When Omar was five years old, his mother became a Muslim. She married a man named Iman Lufman Ayman Abdullahi. Omar was then raised as a Muslim.
Music Journey
Omar Regan started his career in music. He began writing songs when he was only nine years old.
At age 11, he formed a music group called S.O.A (Servants of Allah) with his brother. They performed their first show when Omar was 12. They even opened for famous artists like Redman, Method Man, and Eminem.
In 1999, a record company offered them a deal. However, they hoped for a better one, so they turned it down. No new deal came, and the brothers decided to work on their own music careers.
Becoming a Stand-Up Comedian
When Omar was 19, he moved to Los Angeles to become a stand-up comedian and actor. In November 1999, he started performing comedy in clubs in Detroit.
